During 2013 the UK subsidiary of Aldi, the German discounter, posts a 65% increase in profits. Sales of supermarkets open since one year or more have increased by 30%.
These results reflects the adjustment of the retailer to the taste of UK middle class, increasing fresh and higher target products.
